ICF Supper

The official dinner will take place in the Restaurant “le Vieux Verbier”, on Tuesday 26 January at 9:00pm. Drinks will be served under the tent “Le Cinema” at 8:15pm. Informal dress is suitable ( leave your tie at home!)

Dinner with wine is at a subsidised price or 95 Euros. Please buy your dinner voucher at the conference desk by Monday evening at the latest for those who did not register online. Places are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis!

Skiing and other Sports

Efficient ski-lift facilities provide access to 250 miles of slopes, a figure that already gives you an idea of this vast area of virtually limitless skiing, to say nothing of an alpine panorama that will take your breath away (especially from the top of the Mont-Fort or Mont-Gelé).

At an attitude between 5000 an 1000 feet, snow conditions are exceptionally favourable. Your hotel and the conference desk will give you details of wherre to obtain passes for skiers and non skiers.

In addition to skiing and other snow sports, there are diferent activities offered in Verbier: paragliding over the region, taka a break at the swimming pool in the Sports Centre, shoot down the toboggan slopes, hike along sunny paths or compete at a curling match.

Discounts on Ski Hire and Lift Passes

Discounts are available via the conference desk or in advance through M&S Event Services S.A. A 25% discount is available on all 2 days passes, for 25 and 26 January! For ski-passes with a duration of 3 days and longer, a discount of 7% is available. Please book the ski-passes well ahead through the M&S Event Services SA office in Verbier.

Bus Transportation

Free bus transportation is available throughout the resort to reach “Le Cinéma” (the
bus stops at Place de l’Ermitage). For those staying at the Hotel Montpelier, a courtesy
minibus will take you to the main square in the morning only (Place de L’Ermitage) –
enquire at the hotel reception desk.
